ISSA and RAI to rebrand their family of shows

ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, and RAI Amsterdam, owner of “INTERCLEAN” the global independent trade show platform, announced today that they have restructured their agreement. The new agreement will allow both organizations to thrive in the global marketplace.

ISSA and RAI Amsterdam are committed to serving the professional cleaning and hygiene industry and are determined to ensure that exhibitors and attendees alike continue to have the ability to discover the latest innovations and take advantage of business opportunities at the industry’s premier shows in Amsterdam, Istanbul, and the Americas.

Both ISSA and INTERCLEAN trade show calendars will not change as a result of this agreement. The Amsterdam event May 15 – 18, 2018, will remain part of the RAI portfolio, along with Istanbul. The trade shows in America and Mexico will remain ISSA events.

As part of the restructured strategy, ISSA will rebrand its family of shows, starting with the ISSA Show 2018, October 29-November 1, in Dallas, TX, USA, and including all other ISSA shows in Mexico, Australia, and South Africa.

ISSA position

John Barrett, Executive Director of ISSA, reported the following key conclusions on the restructured agreement:

  • ISSA will continue serving its members and organizing top-notch trade shows, networking events, educational seminars, and workshops around the world
  • ISSA will continue to host shows in America, Mexico, Australia, and South Africa under its brand
  • RAI Amsterdam will retain the Amsterdam and Istanbul shows in their portfolio
  • ISSA will continue to offer the existing exhibitor benefits to its members at RAI shows

RAI has indicated that the Amsterdam and Istanbul events will be renamed INTERCLEAN. ISSA remains committed to providing member educational and networking programs, as well as benefits for exhibiting in Amsterdam.

It should be reminded that a wide variety of segments from the cleaning industry will be represented during Interclean Amsterdam 2018. The exhibition floor is divided into six specific segments: High Pressure, Laundry, Management & Mobility, Steam Cleaning, Washroom and Waste Solutions. The other four segments, Machines, Equipment, Window Cleaning and Detergents, are fragmented, and can be found in every hall. All of this is done for your convenience.

“With the change to Interclean Amsterdam, we will continue to fulfil our role as the promoters of innovation within the professional cleaning industry,” said Rob den Hertog, Director Interclean. “We will keep our global focus, strengthen our strategy across the entire event, and go wherever the industry needs us to be. The event is being created for professionals, by professionals.”

“The Interclean brand has a rich history that we take a lot of pride in, and we have represented that in the refreshed logo,” continued Den Hertog “The new elements symbolise who we have become and what we are today: the place to be to discover advanced cleaning technologies that will transform and modernise the professional cleaning world.”

Both RAI and ISSA look forward to a productive future, supporting each other’s events and working together to develop and improve the global industry, while ensuring they create value for the future of the global cleaning industry.
